HMR Snubbed at Hair Metal Awards
In what is quickly becoming a national pastime, Hair Metal Radio was once again snubbed by the music industry, this time by not being nominated for a single award at the first annual Hair Metal Awards in Las Vegas, NV. Despite being obvious contenders for the “Best Use of Anti-Aging Cream” and “Most Obvious Wigs” awards, HMR were completely ignored by the Hair Metal elite.
We contacted HMR guitarist Jimi Van Whalen, who had recently returned from a mandatory court appearance in Las Vegas, but he only had this to say, “Who are you and how did you get my phone number?”
The rest of the band cannot afford cell phones and thus were unavailable for comment.
