HMR Bassist in Space!
This just in from HMR HQ…
Bassist Jizzy Straddlin will be the first ever rock “musician” to play a bass solo while strapped to a rocket that is traveling into space. Jizzy trained for this bass solo with NASA, because that makes sense.
After hearing nothing but bass solos for sometimes up to 12 minutes per day, NASA told Jizzy that they wanted him to explore beer waterfalls recently discovered on the surface of Mars. Jizzy dropped his joke of a guitar, wobbled his jowels and drunkenly agreed to do, “Whatever that thing they just asked me just now.”
After two days of rigorous sobriety Jizzy was deemed healthy enough to be duct taped to the side of a pig silo full of jet fuel, which also was the name of Hair Metal Radio’s fourth greatest hits album, “Pig Silo Full of Jet Fuel” (or PSFoJF for short).
At press time Jizzy was once again carelessly thrashing on a bass that was not plugged in as his pig jet soared over Cape Canaveral.
